Traveling by car from the north.

Take I-95 South to I-40 East to Wilmington.
Follow signs for Highways 17/74 - Myrtle Beach.
Follow Hwy 17 across the Cape Fear River.
Take exit Hwy. 133 towards Southport/Oak Island.
Make left onto NC 133 and follow for 24 miles.
When you reach Hwy 211, go left for Southport
and right to reach Oak Island via Hwy 133.


Traveling by car from the South

Take Highway 17 northbound.
Pass Myrtle Beach, SC and Shallotte, NC.
Turn right at Hwy 211 towards Southport.
Follow for 16 miles.
Turn RT on Hwy 133 at traffic light to reach Oak Island.
(about 2-1/2 miles to bridge).
Stay straight on Hwy 211 to reach Southport (about 2 miles).
